Description: Tagetes has a minty, oily, green aroma that is slightly sweet. It is helpful for repelling insects and is said to have antiparasitic and antifungal properties. Commonly used to create `attar genda` which is a popular Indian perfume. Mainly used in the perfume industry. Excess exposure should be avoided as its main constituent, Tagetone, is considered harmful to humans in large amounts. Blends well with: Bergamot, Clary Sage, Jasmine, Lavender, Lemon, Myrrh, Tangerine Cautions: Never use essential oils undiluted or in eyes or mucus membranes. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified and expert practitioner. Keep away from children and pets.
