Solid bath soap of the Portuguese brand Antiga Barbearia de Bairro is part of the perfumed series "Journey", dedicated to the era of the great geographical discoveries. Ilha da Madeira 1419 evokes the discovery of Madeira in 1419 by João Gonçalves Zarco. Madeira Island off the northwestern coast of Africa became a safe haven for the great Portuguese navigators who made their discoveries at the turn of the 15th-16th centuries. In the aromatic composition of Ilha da Madeira 1419 soap, perfumers of the Antiga Barbearia de Bairro brand included notes of flowers and trees of those species that traditionally grow on the island, including strelitzia, the image of which adorns the packaging. The composition of the soap is enriched with glycerin, which gently moisturizes the skin of the body during the morning or evening shower. The persistent woodsy-floral fragrance remains for some time in the form of a light plume after bathing.
The Leme Bath Soap collection consists of soaps dedicated to the most important moments and places of Portuguese exploration. The exclusive scents were created in a Portuguese perfume factory, and each ingredient is selected to create aromatic images of those exotic lands. Beautifully illustrated packaging complements the theme and scent of each soap.
