Tabula Rasa's Steampunk line is inspired by the fascinating movement of the same name, a retro-futuristic subculture that incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by Victorian industrial steam-powered machinery. Fittingly, the fragrance of the soap, Steampunk is a nostalgic yet modern fragrance. Lime begins the composition, with a floral citrus that is simultaneously staunchly masculine and playfully indulgent. As lime recalls the simple pleasures, it hints at the possibility of spice (think Bay Rum), and violet enters the frame. A popular floral note in fragrances marketed to men, violet's piquant nonchalance simultaneously invigorates and soothes. As violet formulates a handsome second skin, the polished demeanor it invokes is spread with the note of Atlas cedar. Musk seamlessly integrates cedar's steam and violet's chill, creating a classically handsome whole. The diving bell on the package is a nod to Jules Verne's '20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,' a source of Steampunk inspiration. Other ingredients include coarse alpine salt, olive oil, and clay. The soap is carefully cut and packaged by hand. Dimensions: 2.4″ x 2″ x 1.4″ (6 x 5 x 3.5 cm).
Directions: After use, please place the soap in a soap dish where it can dry thoroughly. Shelf life: Please store handmade soaps in a dry and airy place and use them within 2 years.

Natural soaps that have no synthetic colors like this one change color as they cure.
They can cure up to 12 months after they are manufactured.
Specially the olive soaps change the color from dark green to light beige.
Left to cure for months, some moisture will evaporate out of the bar soap and will become slightly smaller, harder, longer lasting, and even gentler on your skin.
The harder the soap, the longer it lasts and the more lather it produces.
