India's warm and colorful land inspired this strong and sweet fragrance. The aromas of the queen flowers of the East, jasmine, and rose, merge with the strong aromas of pink pepper and the warmth of amber. 1498 India by Leme was launched in 2022. The nose behind this fragrance is Paula Gomes. "1498: India - We arrived in Calicut and opened the sea to the Europeans for new and rich trades. We used some local spices and created this olfactory journey resulting in a sweet, sensual and intoxicating aroma" - Leme. This perfume is part of a collection of 6 perfumes released in tribute to the great discoveries of Portuguese sailors in the 15th century. Each year, each discovery brings its new freshness: the African coasts, the Island of Madeira, Brazil, India, and Japan.
A strong and sweet passionate aroma:
Predominant notes: jasmine, arris, rose, orange blossom and sea notes
Base notes: cedar, sandalwood, vetiver, vanilla, musk and labdanum
Top notes: lemon, tangerine, mint, bergamot, pink pepper and neroli.
