Description: Tagetes has a minty, oily, green aroma that is slightly sweet. It is helpful for repelling insects and is said to have antiparasitic and antifungal properties. Commonly used to create `attar genda` which is a popular Indian perfume. Mainly used in the perfume industry. Excess exposure should be avoided as its main constituent, Tagetone, is considered harmful to humans in large amounts.
