It is useful in formulations intended to aid with anxiety, depression, fear, stress, and shock, and uplift the spirits as it is very relaxing and calming. This calming effect is also helpful for calming the digestive tract and can aid with intestinal spasms, and diarrhea. Neroli’s sedative effects are also useful in sleeping formulations for insomnia. It is a balancing oil for the skin and hair, and can help control overproduction of sebum.
